CITY OF DREAMS: FROM MOUNTAINS TO OCEANS
I had the unique opportunity to write the script for a documentary on Karma Deki, Bhutan's first female filmmaker and director. This project, which premiered at the Rubin Museum in New York, on June 16, 2024, showcases Karma Deki's journey, her challenges, and her significant contributions to the Bhutanese film industry. The documentary highlights her role as President of Women in Film and Television, Bhutan, and CEO of Bhutan Reel Stories, emphasizing her dedication to inclusivity, community values, and the transformative power of storytelling.
